Welcome to JMS, Mariners, unless you are a returning 7th or 8th grader! I have high hopes for this year! Whether it’s Algebra, Civics, or Science, you got this! This year, we have many new teachers at our school. We are excited to have a new science teacher, Mr. Simmons. We also have a new 7th-grade counselor, Ms. Brush. New educators at our school lead to change at JMS and open new doors for students!
This year holds so much potential for the Mariner Messinger and our new staff! We have been given an incredible opportunity to have a new Mariner Messenger website. This new website is going to be the same type of newspaper as the Jupiter War Cry, which is Jupiter High School’s newspaper.
This issue of the Mariner Messenger features many new and exciting articles, including a ‘What If?’ article on 9/11, a mental health article for Suicide Prevention Month, and an article on overconsumption and its effects. We also have a back-to-school article from a 6th grader’s point of view. Another article being featured is about the new seventh and eighth graders at our school. This is our first issue of the 2025-2026 school year! I hope that this year leads to many more great improvements with Mariner Messenger! I believe in you, Mariners! This year is going to be the best yet. Good luck to you all, and have a Happy September!
