Have you ever wondered what being good can get you? Well, in the JMS community, the PBIS officials have made a reward system that will benefit any act of kindness! This system can get you out of trouble when needed, and give you spectacular rewards that make your regular school day fantastic for you and your friends.
To gain points, you need to follow the PBIS behavior chart, which shows being resilient, respectful, and responsible. If an adult sees you doing one of those acts, they give you points. The points labeled “Avail” on your SIS portal.
A large number of the prizes are awarded on specific dates, so here are a few examples to give you a sense of the grand rewards that can be won. These rewards include things like the Teacher Blow Up Race, which is to be on 4/19, and on 2/13, the Ice Cream Social, where you can hang out with your friends while enjoying ice cream! Of course, there are many other prizes to be earned, and physical ones too. So keep an eye out and aim to gain points early this year!
Also, there are physical “coins” that are called captain coins. You can turn in these coins for 5 points. If you’re worried you aren’t good enough to get a lot of points by yourself, don’t worry! Each week, you’re granted 60 points by the PBIS officials, so you’ll have enough points to buy prizes. The prizes go from the cost of 200-1000 points, with multiple options for rewards! So make sure you’re extra good this year, and good luck in getting your points!

12/19 8th Movie In The Cafe – Last 2 Periods
2/13 – Ice Cream Social – AR
3/13 – Water Recess Day- Last 2 periods
4/2 – Mystery Eggs- Lunch
4/19 – Teacher Blow-up Race – AR
5/28 – Bounce House Recess- Last 2 periods (All grades)
