In honor of the holiday season and as the marking period comes to a close I would like to introduce my own version of JMS’ 12 Days of Christmas. Please read to the tune of the 12 Days of Christmas as you prepare to finish out the quarter, crush your final exams and prepare for the holidays…
12 checks of SIS
11 missing assignments
10 days to turn them in
9 teachers mad at you
8 lunch detentions
7 tardy passes
6 final exams
5 missing airpods
4 oversized hoodies
3 dress code violations
2 make up tests and….
1 month left until winter break!
We have an exciting issue of the Mariner Messenger this month to help prepare us for the holidays and the rest of 2025, including a daily calendar of things to do everyday for the rest of the year, articles on peer pressure and daily things we do to harm our health as well as a holiday gift guide to fit every budget. We also have a school Choice guide for our eighth graders preparing for high school and interesting Op-Eds on school dress code enforcement and being allowed to have gum in school. Check out the Sports section for a look at A Day in the Life of Travel Sports to get some insight on just how much your fellow student athletes are juggling.
I want to wish you all Happy Holidays and hope you close out this semester strong and enjoy your winter break. We are almost there, Mariners!
